Michela Martello was born and raised in Italy. Martello’s early career was as an illustrator for children’s book. Since 1998, Martello’s has lived in NYC where she has devoted primarily herself to painting. Her work as a painter has included large scale mural installation for corporations and private individuals, as well as painting and mixed media on canvas. She was selected by NYC American Association of women for the Emerging Women Artist juried exhibition, she won the call for Bushwick 2014, in 2015 MAAM museum in Rome commissioned her a big triptych for the permanent collection, most recently she was selected by Pen and Brush for a solo show, “The Future Is Goddess”, in New York City.
